⭐️Success stories⭐️

We are incredibly proud of the transformations we help create. From tackling severe reactivity to resolving persistent or dangerous behavioural issues, our training is designed to bring out the best in every dog. We believe in improving the quality of life for both dogs and their owners, creating stronger bonds, happier homes and a deeper understanding of our four legged friends. Discover how our clients feel in the weeks/months after our training and enjoy some of our most heart-warming success stories below.

Rocky

3year old Rottweiler X Bully mix and on the banned breed exempt list. A big powerful boy with strong genetics. Rocky is alot of dog and they were struggling with many issues..

•People and dog reactivity

•Excessive lead pulling

•Walks had stopped due to his behaviour

•Under exposed

•Reactive to guests in the home

•Seperation anxiety

Just to name a few..

Rocky was also medicated for his behaviour, but of course this had not helped in any way. His owners had also tried three different trainers/behaviourists but sadly did not get the help they needed. Rocky was very stressed in and out of the home, highly aroused and trigger stacking the moment he left the house. Walking him was out of control at times and very concerning for his owners.

'wow is all I can say, if you have a reactive dog, reactive to noise, people, animals, pulls like a train, doesnt respond to you, these are your go to people, they have honestly done amazing work with our boy rocky, they have given me hope there is a future, people are normally put off by his size and strength and well they took it all in their stride and given him a much happier future, thank you so much I cannot wait for what the future holds'

Fast forward 7 weeks

3.5months since our last session and living his best life

Reggie & Oscar

We were called out to help with two miniature dachshunds that had been severely fighting with each other in the home. More than ten times we were told. Reggie and Oscar had to be completely seperate indoors or they would fight instantly and really hurt one another. Their owners have also been bitten multiple times trying to seperate them.

Whilst we were called out to help with this behaviour we needed to look at the whole picture for both dogs to really understand the root cause.. and there was alot going on.

•Lead pulling

•Reactivity to dogs and people

•High arousal

•Extreme resource guarding

Every walk was like you can see in the video. A stressful nightmare for everyone!

Genetic fullfillment is so important for our dogs and more than often we see fallout of behaviour because the dog is not having a healthy outlet for the dog they are. So by teaching Reggie and Oscar how to play we started to create new, positive emotions around a trigger but also build engagement, value and relationship with their owners. Both dogs immediately felt better around a dog because the game and play was more important.

There was alot to go over in this home visit and there is still alot of work to be done. But a really great start to helping these dogs feel better in and out of the home.

Buster

3year old Shih tzu X. Buster would bark at every dog or person he saw and we were told it's usually worse than the behaviour we saw. Buster's behaviour stems from some nerve but mostly learnt behaviour due to lack of guidance from his owner about what he should or shouldn't do in those moments. You don't know what you don't know and we are here to help in everyway we can and show what is possible.

Buster was practising behaviour that worked for him. He barks excessively and the trigger leaves, the cycle repeats every walk and everyday it is reinforced, becoming more and more of an issue over time.

Buster was unsure at first of our dogs yes. But with no pressure for interactions and allowing Buster to work things out himself, he relaxed within minutes and was soon making every good choice! Over the session we gave Buster controlled exposure and started to build a new positive association to how he feels about dogs. This is just the start of very good things to come for them both.

Buddy

BEFORE & AFTER  8 WEEK JOURNEY

Behaviour transformation of Buddy the fear reactive 1year old Cockapoo. Walks were quite the disaster..

Lead pulling, explosive kick offs and a completely stressed and overwhelmed dog struggling with daily life.

Buddy is genetically a very nervous dog and his behaviour all stemmed from fear and unpredictable outcomes. Buddy lacked any confidence and desperately needed clarity and guidance from his owner. You can't change genetics but we could help Buddy feel better about the world and learn a new way of thinking. Buddy was not food motivated and wouldn't take a treat or play until our third session.

Once Buddy had learnt new, better skills and they were both feeling more confident, we needed to generalise the behaviour in lots of differents environments and expose Buddy to lots of different dogs in different contexts. No pressure for interactions or to like every dog, but instead giving buddy positive social experiences over several weeks and working on handling, communication, engagement and teaching social neutrality.

By trusting the process Buddy no longer feels the need to react. He's learnt to feel safe and enjoying walks with his owner in control. It's been amazing to see the positive change in his emotional response to dogs, on and off lead and in real world situations. They have both done amazing over the last few weeks and we couldn't be more proud.
